Poetry - Haikus Part 3: July, August, September

I'm back with the third installment of my haiku series! As the year winds down, I'm catching up on these quarterly reflections. This time, I'll be focusing on the months of July, August, and September. Part 2 can be read here.

July

My first child was born

Just by chance my birth as well

Favorite of mine

August

Peak heat in session

The water is our savior

Is summer over

September

My wife's birthday month

Summer ends, crisp autumn drops

Holidays to come

Summertime is a good time and sharing a birth month with my eldest is quite special to me. This stretch holds many family birthdays and as summer peaks and closes, there's no better time to celebrate! If you have any feedback, want to share your own poems, or suggest any poetry you believe is truly special, please reach out!
